5 of my Favourite Venues to Photograph Weddings in Worcestershire

A Selection of Stunning Worcestershire Wedding Venues

When it comes to weddings and locations to work at as a photographer I am simply spoilt for wonderful venues across the county and have captured such a huge variety of memorable days!

The county of Worcestershire is home to some exquisite wedding venues and I am fortunate enough to live about 10-15 minutes drive from many of them including some local favourites.

I love visiting new venues, with fresh eyes, plenty inspiration and new ideas pour into my mind but I also love visiting some of my favourite venues again and again too (they feel like home). I form lovely relationships and friendships with owners and staff, we work hard together to ensure the couples' day runs smoothly and they get the very best from their days including beautiful photographs capturing their love, story, memories and details.  

Let me take you across some of my favourite venues in Worcestershire to photograph weddings through various couple's wedding days

1. Birtsmorton Court - Birtsmorton Malvern Worcestershire

I've been capturing weddings at Birtsmorton Court for over 9 years. I first captured a wedding here alongside my wonderful friend and retired photographer Gemma Williams. I'd worked with Gemma over a number of years and loved our days (capturing beautiful weddings and our coffee dates) together; I'll be forever thankful for the opportunities she gave to me in the earlier days of my wedding photography journey. 

This stunning venue is offered exclusively to its couples. The historical medieval moated manor dating back to the 12th century takes pride of place, there are the most beautifully maintained and large variety of gardens including the White Garden and the lawn in front of the manor house all of which you can get married at. The views are captivating across the Malvern Hills and spread for miles. The church of St Thomas of Canterbury with St Peter & St Paul is within their grounds and the shortest of walks away for a Christian ceremony. 

I adore capturing weddings at Birtsmorton Court and I'm only 4 miles away. 

They have an array of cottages and accommodation for you to start your preparations in and should you wish you can get dressed in the bridal suite in the Manor House - which is stunning and perfect for those finishing touch photographs. 

2. Curradine Barns - Shrawley Worcester

I adore weddings at Curradine Barns and have been capturing them here for over 8 years including weddings in their wonderful barn and at the church which is a few moments walk down the lane.

This venue is stunning all year round - perfect for indoor and outdoor ceremonies (along with the local church which is walking distance away).

Curradine Barns has beauidul accommodation including several cottages and a stunning dressing room for your morning preparations too.

The barn for your wedding reception is so light and beautiful - this area was extended a few years ago and looks amazing with much more room and light

If you are a foodie this venue has the most amazing catering including pretty canapes, beautifully prepared meals and for the evening they have their own pizza oven which goes down so well with guests! 

The gardens are exquisite and there are lots of pretty spots for photo opportunities both for group photos and couple portraits

3. Weddings with the most amazing views at Deer Park Hall - Worcestershire

One of my local favourites and on the edge of the Cotswolds this pretty Cotswolds stone venue is only a short drive from my home.

Deer Park Hall is a stunning venue with beautiful grounds perfect for lots of outdoor photos - they have the most wonderful of settings for outdoor ceremonies and inside is breathtaking with The Bredon Room for receptions home to panoramic views overlooking the valley and The Malvern Hills.

The sunsets from the venue are magnificent and not only are you spoilt with the incredible location and views you're in for a treat as you can go into the parkland and visit the deer which is such a wonderful experience

4. Stunning Grounds and Captivating Architecture at Stanbrook Abbey Callow End, Worcester

5. Country Luxury at Arley House & Gardens, Worcestershire

If you're looking for a country house with added luxury then have a look at Arley House & Gardens.

Stunning preparation rooms for you to get ready for your day in, beautiful, tasteful chic decor throughout, light airy rooms including their magnificent Orangery for ceremonies and receptions. 

You can choose to have your ceremony in a number of pretty locations to suit your tastes including their exquisite Italian Gardens or on their garden lawn. 

My Bonus - Bennetts Willow Barn

A gorgeous local venue perfect for country, rural, festival vibes and there's onsite glamping too! 

One of my favourite local wedding venues and somewhere I have built such a lovely relationship with Stef and her amazing team.

I've captured many beautiful styled setups and shoots at this unique venue over the last 2+ years

Bennetts has a very relaxed vibe offering a stunning barn and yurt too.

You can choose to have your ceremony outdoors in their garden area or inside their beautiful barn.

I've been fortunate to stay in their stunning new yurts last year (2022) and my daughter, Bella (our labrador) and I had the most amazing night away.

The light is lovely inside, the atmosphere is relaxed and the views over towards the Malvern HIlls are gorgeous! perfect for festival themed weddings!

Stef and her team are truly amazing and I've since captured more styling here including in January 2023 onwards
